Petrof grand piano 1990

For this enthusiastic amateur player, the grand piano felt too heavy to play. There was significant friction in the action, and the lever did not match the weight of the hammers properly. By adjusting the pivot point of the keys using OBWs and reducing friction, the piano now plays much lighter. The hammers have been reshaped and weighted according to the Precision Touch Design method. Afterward, the action was adjusted, and the piano was tuned and intonated.

What the customer has to say

Rani and Joachim have transformed our grand piano in a sublime way, turning it from a heavy-playing instrument with a muffled sound into a light, agile piano with beautiful, clear tones. Although it is an Eastern European instrument, the result was unexpectedly good—even for Joachim.
Rani knows her craft well (know thyself), as ten years ago, she hadn’t mastered this aspect of the profession and referred me to a knowledgeable colleague for restoring another grand piano. Now, together with Joachim, things have changed.
They combine new computer techniques with traditional craftsmanship. Moreover, they are sincere, kind, and musical people who do not boast. After completing the work, I learned that Joachim was the expert who fine-tuned the new pianos for Steinway.
It is clear that, for multiple reasons, we highly recommend them, and more than that, for any piano and grand piano repair inquiries.
