Tuning and maintenance
Every piano can go out of tune due to regular use and climate changes, such as temperature and humidity fluctuations. How often should you have your piano tuned? This depends on several factors: how quickly your instrument goes out of tune, the environment it’s in, how frequently you play, and your sensitivity to sound quality.
Regular tuning ensures your piano maintains its best sound and performance. Let us help you keep your instrument in perfect condition!
Tariff
The hourly rate is €100 as of January 1, 2025 (€82.65 excluding VAT).
An additional travel fee of €25 will be charged for locations outside The Hague area. All prices include 21% VAT.
To maintain your instrument in optimal condition, we believe it is important that your instrument is not only regularly tuned, but that its regulation and intonation are also checked.
Experience
We
are certified piano tuners and have gained a lot of experience in
various concert halls such as the Concertgebouw, die Liederhalle in
Stuttgart, Muziekgebouw aan het IJ and the Doelen in Rotterdam. We
have been able to tune for pianists such as Lang Lang, Chick Corea,
Lucas and Arthur Jussen and Wibi Soeriadi, but we also like to tune
for enthusiastic amateur pianists.
